Renovation of a small apartment in a 1920's apartment building.

DCA renovated a small apartment in a 1920's apartment building , preserving original Art Deco details and adding new details salvaged from local sources and the internet. 

Biedermeier wallpaper (reproduced by Studio Printworks) lines the walls of the dining room and entry. The tiny kitchen was enlarged just enough to squeeze in a treasured dishwasher and glazed cement tiles accent the kitchen backsplash. A wall of new bookcases allow a cozy bedroom to be carved out of the existing living room.
