Beirut, Lebanon
2009
Inspiration for the architectural details for this artist's home came from everything from pattern books of Georgian coffered ceilings, and moucharaby screens made by local artisans.
Original art deco stone floors were preserved, and door hardware was restored and adapted as necessary. The mix of architectural styles somehow creates just the right setting for the owners eclectic collection of art and antiquities , furniture and decorative objects.
